intake cooling

Hey, just a quick question. I am looking for some sort of heat repelent wrap to put around a intake to keep it cooler. It is a metal intake and keeps heating up pretty warm. I have seen like heat shield stuff that is almost like a tape but cant seem to find it. Any help would be appreciated i just want to try that before i go out and buy one that is plastic or something different

They have that crap you can get that comes in a spray can that some people coat their headers with too.. found that stuff at advance auto.

Not sure if it would serve the purpose you want it to.

Just go to a Home Depot or Lowes and pick up some of the tape they use to put on dryer vents. You can usually find it in that section.
