i have a trickflow street heat intake on the way, and im wondering if i can use any elbow? im asking because professional products has one and its only $50, where as all the others are almost $100
Yeah i switched to the TFS elbow. Its 75mm and has a better path. I home ported my edel opening to match the 75mm inlet of the elbow and my 75mm throttle body.
i have an elbow sitting in my basement from my tfs street heat setup. i'll measure it if you want to know its diameter. i'll sell it for $50 if you want it.

i got an edel sitting here too. I switched to the TFS cause its bigger. A guy on here was suppose to buy it I've "held" it for him for like 2 years now. Someday I gotta throw it up on ebay
I have the PP elbow. It is a good piece. One hint for ya, plug in the IAC before you put the t/b on all the way flush with the elbow. It is a tight fit and you won't be able to plug it in after you tighten down all the bolts for the t/b.
I bought a PP elbow...if I didnt go into the purchase wanting to smooth it out/clean it up to match the explorer upper I would have been REALLY
The IAC would not even fit (not even if I put the t-body on first). I notched the area to clear. The casting was VERY rough. I spent several hours just to get it looking ok. I also dont like how the base that mounts to the upper looks. I spend several hours sanding it and getting it to match the uppers shape. Then I bolted it up and matched it to the intake while I smoothed the intake.
Got both the intake and elbow powdercoated silver metalic and damn it looks good now.
