1262 are bigger...i know 1250's fit edelbrock rpm's, twisted wedge heads, afr 165 and 185's and the gt40 series of heads...unless you have major porting.

I bought the 1250 for my setup and it was too small.I also tried a 1262 and it was big enough but didn't seem to line up that well.I finally got the Ford Racing gasket for the heads which fit much better.

Felpro 1250 = 2.00 in. x 1.20 in.

Felpro 1262 = 2.10 in. x 1.28 in

Hmmmm. Strange you mention that about Ford Racing as they are made by Felpro.

yes, but the 205's port sizes are more similar to 351's than 302 sizes. even i am using 1262's on my 331 and Z304 heads.

It actually looks like the gasket is a little too small in that picture. I would have trimmed it up a little.

yes, you are right.
I already did it. I´ve tested the 1262, this one was a little
too big.

Good Job!

I also trim the gasket in the water passage due to the gasket hanging over that restricts flow.
