I am ordering an Edelbrock RPM Air Gap. What is the best intake manifold gasket to get? I am overwhelmed with choices and don't know my ass from my elbow in this department.

I've recently fitted an Edelbrock RPM Air Gap manifold. The instructions from Edelbrock are very comprehensive and give you the part number for their recommended FelPro gasket.

Cool Georgie. Did you have to order any pipe fittings to close off any of the bosses? If so, how many and what sizes?

Fel-Pro 1250 is recommended and fits fine. The gasket openings are significantly larger than the intake's ports, allowing porting, but the shape is right.

I have the Airgap and AFR 185 heads. About 1 year ago, I started blowing through the FelPro 1250's on the pass side rear corner. I went through 3 sets before switching to Mr Gasket. (don't have number) They've been on there 1 year with no problems.

I have the FelPro 1250's on 1 other motor with no problems.

Edelbrock comes with some pipe plugs and I believe an adapter. I bought two 3/8 NPT pipe plugs for two openeings which I did not require, used a 3/8 NPT to 1/8 NPT adapter to fit the water temp sender and bought a 5/8 diameter hose fitting for the heater.
