Intake Manifold Install, Need HELP FAST/NOW

Im in the middle of installing a trick flow street manifold, and i have removed the distributor and the old upper...the haynes manual now says i have to relieve the fuel system pressure, but as i was looking at the procedure one of the steps for relieving the pressure requires the car to be running which is obviously impossible...what do i do next....this is my first time doing this so being very specific will help...thanx in advance

If your car has been off for awhile the FP should be gone already. Just put a towel over the fittings when you pull them apart. It's not a big deal you will be fine.

yup, what he said. i know my fuel pressure drops down to next to nothing after it's been sitting for a day. it should just dribble out.
