Can someone get me a detailed picture of what the top ports are on the intake of a 289 or 302. I'm talking about the temp sending unit and such. Also, where does the oil pressure sending unit get attached.

Oil pressure sender is above the oil filter.As far as the water temp sender,mine is to the right of the water neck.You can put in any water passage and get different readings.

put the sender as close to the water's exit from the intake manifold as possible....that will be the water's hottest point.
