i'm changing the intake on my 73 mach 1.it has a 351c.
here's the question
i have the oil tin pan and it came with these paper thin gaskets.
do they go between the tin and the intake or do they go between the block and the oil tin thing?

I am missing something here. Why not just use a Fel-Pro or Mr. Gasket replacement?

It is not your breath, I just think the group is a little confused and therefore no replies.

I didn't use the tin baffle gasket, just used the good FelPro gaskets and end seals.

Turkey Pan

He's talkin about the Turkey Pan that runs under the Intake Manifold and over the Lifter gallery.
Celveland engines use these.
I don't use one on my 351CJ so I couldn't tell you what side of it the intake manifold gaskets go on.
Sorry I'm not help.... but at least I did know what you were talking about !
hehe

I've used the "turkey pan" , It goes on the head side and the gasket, if it came with em, go above it. Be sure to use gasket sealer, You can also use thicker gaskets and trim the gasket part off the turkey pan. If you have an aluminum intake without the exhaust cross over, then you really don't need the turkey pan.
