Intake - Should I sell it?

I have a gt-40 tubular intake thats brand new I bought a year or so ago. Ive sold the rest of the parts I had for the mustang. Im trying to keep the mustang but that might get sold too, that a whole other story though.

I was going to hold onto the intake just because its rare and I dobut Id be able to find one again once I have money to dump back into the fox or get another fox. Am I being stupid for keeping the intake or do you guys think their just going to get rarer and more expensive?

Oh no they will be ample at some point in time and have next to no value right now. Just sell it to me really cheap and we will both be happy! LoL Seriously though, id keep it if i were you.

i say either use it, or sell it. don't just hoard it. NOT FAIR!!! a lot of people will jump on that for even over $400 if its brand new, but don't expect it to double in value in a year or anything.... but if i could find one (for less $$$), i'd be on it like stink on bum. LOVE how it looks and performs good for milder setups. best looking intake out there, i think. (well maybe close with the systemax, but still looks HOT)

They're actually bringing between $500 and $600 these days for nice ones. The covers are even worse. I tried to buy one last week and put what I thought was a ridculous max bid in. It ended up selling for almost $300!!!

Wow, its funny because $400 when I bought it was overpaying.

The upper is brand new. The lower was painted purple by the guy I bought it from other then that its new too, other then being um...purple..

The only thing thats keeping me from selling it is I love the look of it, and I know their going to be impossible to find eventually.

i agree keep it. it may not be the best performing but its def the best looking. if you ever wanna have it on your car it will cost you a ton more to get in the future. i'd kill for for one. but no way am i gonna spend the cash they are costing.

Just saw a GT40 cover mint shape on Ebay with buy it now $200 bucks!
