What is the maximum thickness of spacer that I can use for my Cobra intake on a 94 Cobra with the Cobra hood and no hood insulation? I have a 3/8 inch spacer now, but it wont allow the EGR bracket to clear my aluminum valve covers. I've read hundreds of forum comments on several different forum sites and no one seems to give the same answer. Some say 3/8 is too tall, obviously wrong, some say a 1/2'' spacer fits some say it won't, and still others say you can fit a 1 inch spacer. Please, someone give me a straight answer because nobody seems to know what they are talking about. Id measure myself but my engine is out of the car. Pics would be a plus.
