Intake Spacer

Anybody using an intake spacer? Is it worth it? I mean i know its a few advertised hp/tq but take a look at my sig what other bolt ons BESIDES a new intake I think my intake is fine unless going with FI, which im not planning on now.

I had one and it didnt make a noticable difference. But i havent seen one that would work with a 75mm TB

Im refering to one that fits between the upper plenum and the lower manifold.

have you read about any claims? possibly from the manufacturer? I know what they say usually doesn't apply to real world but I'd like to know what they claim and how much they are as well.

they are designed to add 10 or more hp and up to 30 hp with other modifacations. helps with throttle response and faster 1/4 times. It works on the same principle that carb spacers do by adding material to the intake plenum (spacer) you add to the runner length of each cylinder adding volume that can be packed with more air to be mixed with more fuel resulting in more power. It will also raise your torque curve higher along the rpm. They are to be installed between the aluminum upper intake and the plastic lower intake. Throttle Body Spacer bolts in front of the throttle body to cause a powerful action of the incoming air as it passes through the throttle body. This causes the air/fuel mixture to atomize more completely, producing tremendous gains in mid-range power and overall efficiency. This effect will improve drivability of the vehicle as well as increase performance and quicken acceleration. Torque gains between 900 to 3500 RPM. Gas mileage could increase 1-3 miles per gallon. Performance level may vary depending on driving condition and style.


I have not tried it yet, heard lots of people say its not worth it. But I also heard lots of people say its not wroth it to get underdrive pullies and i love mine.
