Intake

Hi new to this forum. I have a question about what intakes to use. I am building a ford performance 347 for my 95 mustang gt . I would like to find the best intakes for the car,I want to keep standard throttle linkage and stay under the stock shock tower brace. So a little bit more information on the engine, I’m using an x303 cam, ford performance z2 heads and I will be using a Holley terminator x control to eliminate maf and make it speed density. Any tips.

I'm pretty sure the Holley Systemax 2 is still the best. I have to admit that I bought one 25 years ago and still have it. You will need an elbow to convert it to an SN throttle body, but those are cheap. The key to keeping the stock hood height is actually the valve covers regardless of which intake you choose. The Z2 heads use stud mount rockers which require more valve cover clearance. You need to find a set of the discontinued Trick Flow low profile valve covers. They are the only ones that clear stud mount rockers, the alternator on an SN, and do not require a phenolic spacer on the intake. Even with the Trick Flow valve covers, I had to grind a couple of mils off the upper plenum to clear the valve covers.
