Intakes + strut tower brace

take of the brace, put whatever intake you want on, when you put the brace back on, if it doesn't fit, make it fit - thats the way we do it around here! Is it black or chrome? if its black, its easier cuz its flat black and you can just paint it really easy if you chip paint ( i guess bend it and use shims to make it fit, always try to make it look professional)

The Maximum Motorsports STB will fit with most intakes. I have the Typhoon and it fits fine. MM says they don't have a fitment problem with intakes, but with the combination of CAI kits that sometimes cause the problems. I have the MAC CAI kit.

it depends on alot of variables.i have a typhoon intake with a mac cai.i purchased a bbk strut brace and it wouldn't fit.bbk said it would but it wouldn't.i recently replaced my stock motor and tranny mounts with energy suspension ones and it lowered the motor enough for the brace to fit with plenty of clearance.i think every car is alittle different.it's a trial and error thing.
I was also going to advise on the MM brace. If you look to a company that make their products for cars that actually go racing, like MM or Griggs, chances are much better that they'll clear aftermarket intakes, because the customers wouldnt be running stockers. Also, there really arent too many aftermarket manifolds that don't clear the brace, as stang22 mentioned, it's often times the intake plumbing and not the manifold itself.
