I'm pretty sure they ARE compatible... but, don't take my word alone. Hope this helps some.

the throttle body opening on the 5.0 HO in the stangs and the 5.0 in trucks are on different sides. They intakes will fit, you'll just need to re-route your intake plumbing.

I forgot about that part. But shouldnt you be able to turn the intake the other way? I dont see why you couldnt. I know it would look stupid if the name was on backwards but.....

you'd also have to consider the throttle body. Have to make the cable work while facing the wrong way. Lightnings have GT40 intakes that work like that. I'd look into it.

A 5.0 Truck intake should work, but it will never fit under the stock hood of a mustang (from recently memory of seeing a friends). Those puppies are TALL. I could be wrong, but I'd almost bet money that it wont fit under the hood.

Edelbrock makes a Performer intake specifically for 5.0L EFI trucks.

Engine Might have to get a Dart block but don't want to and if I do, then 363 instead of 331. Thoughts on what I've already bought so far.......
