hi
what you think about typhoon intakes does it flows like a performer RPM? what is good for stroker or 306 or both? i think the RPM range is 1500-6500!!!
is it good, is it better than gt40?

I can only comment based on the posts that I have read (I don't have experience with either.) The Typhoon is a good intake if you are on a budget. It flows similar to the Performer unit but has lower quality manufacturing.

I have a Typhoon on mine. The casting is rougher on the Typhoons so it doesn't flow as well right from th box but they're just as good if not better if you have it ported. If your on a budget, I'd recommend picking one up & having it ported.

what should i do the thing is that the typhoon has a very good price but it is better than a GT40? :bang:

use the search............if your unable to use a die grinder well, and are not willing to pay a shop 2-300 to fix the shortcomings, spend the money on the quality piece the first time, or give up a grip of hp, and waste alotta time even installing it.

did that sound bitter?

hi what you people think about ''Comp Polymers 5.0L Intake Powerbox'' with the lower intake very whell ported? for stroker or non stroker?
From my buddies experience it doesn't like forced induction. It will flex, whistle and leak. I don't know about a n/a car.

I always heard bad things about the typhoon like rough castings and what not... Why dont you just get an edelbrock or a ford racing Gt40???
I hate GT40 its to spensive and doesnt flow much i prefer an typhoon intake and port it, the gt40 is good up to 5500RPM and the typhoon is good up to 6500 RPM
