X Police motor? I honestly don't think there is a difference.

Install a pair of PI cams and the PI intake manifold. There is plenty of info on this in the search function.
This will bring you up to around 245hp very close to the 99 GT numbers without having to do a full PI head swap.

the next time a state trooper or a local cop passes u take a look at the bottom left of the trunk lid and it will say "police intercepter" suppose to be a little bigger and a good bit stronger than a reg 4.6

Save your money and do a PI swap instead. Correct me if im wrong guys, but the Police Interceptor motor ain't nothing special at all.

The Police Interceptor Motor is basicilly the same as a Crown Vic motor with a different tune and alternator. Be careful with a motor out of Crown Vic, they didn't get the PI version until 2001 or 2002.

You can also bet an Intereceptor motor has been beaten on for many of its miles.

Like the rest of the guys said, just get PI cams and PI intake manifold. Cheaper, less work, more effective.
