interchangeable parts?

can the 94-98 door panels be placed in the 99+ cars? i think they are the same right?

I belive that mechanically, they are the same. Cosmetically, they are different.

I am not too sure when this changed, but at least the '94 and '95 panels had a vinyl/leather insert on the top half. Today, this "look" is still there, but is simply hard plastic.

There is also the change from two-tone to monochrome, and of course, some colors changed (saddle to parchment).

What I am not too sure of, is coupe vs. convertible. That is because the convertible have a much larger power window control panel due to the operative rear side windows.

well im looking to change my door panels to '96 door panels. if everything fixed mechanically i dont see why it woudlnt work. thanks for the help.
