The intercooler is always hot because it is very close to the engine and doesn't really get THAT MUCH air, even with a ram-air hood. Your best bet would be to get a front mount intercooler as that is further away from the engine and a lot more air flows over it. Stinger sells a kit, as well as Spearco or you can get an FMIC unit of a older Volvo (not sure what years or models, but many have chosen this route.nicklats said:I have a top mount intercooler on my 88 T-bird motor in my 93 mustang I have a tubular header on the motor. i would sell one for like 40 shipped or so just to get rid of them....stinger sells the pipes. If you dont plan on making 500hp it is a good IC im picky on my stuff and wouldnt have used it if it was junk.nicklats said:How much are you selling the intercooler for?? do you have the tubeing for it as well??
