Roush intercooler tank questions?

my stock intercoler tank cracked, dosent surprise me, its a saleen part, well the problem is i dont like the chicane one and i would like a black one, gettin it from saleen is a small project and i wouldnt see it for a mounth, so does any where else sell it? should i repair it? its a small hairline crack in the top RTV mabey?

Try Canton Racing Products and see if maybe they sell one? Do we have a similar tank to the 03/04 Cobra's? I want to say I've seen a few of them with upgraded reservoirs.

Another option is to relocate the battery to the trunk and run the Vortech intercooler box. Here's a link...

Just curious, what don't you like about the Chicane tank? Also, if you end up going back with the stock Saleen tank and you don't want to mess with Saleen directly, see if maybe Mark at PAS has one in stock. He also sells Chicane's tanks. I'm sure you could get it powdercoated black. I think Haney Motorsports might stock the tank as well. Their website click here. Oh yeah, also try Speedworx.

I am also curious what you don't like about the Chicane. That is what Saleen used until a few years ago. They went to the plastic ones to save money. The cracking seems to be a common problem. I specificaly went to the Chicane when I added the KB, pesonally I think they look pretty factory.

i want the factory look, and chicane dosent offer a black one, so if i got it id have to have it powder coated black.
