gonna do super charger do you guys think that an intercooler is less stress on the motor .are does it make the super charger more dependable .i have 2007 gt/cs 5speed will be driving car alot especially long trips some times 800 mile trips with no stops except for gas my car is a daily driver. are should i pass completley and just do bolt ons. thanks

It is my understanding that a blower really does not perform unless the temperature of the air is cooler. I know this is the case for industrial lasers that are intercooled. The same physics should apply here.

These cars like it cold. Anytime you compress air it will heat up substantially. Anything that can be done to reduce the temperature of the air charge will reduce the chance of detonation and will increase the power gains due to more air molecules in cooler air.

These motors will blow fast under boost if detonation occurs. I would never use a blower without an intercooler.
