wow.. wow.. wow.. guys.... i idn't mean for this thread to turn into insult battles

if you took the time to read the list of mods on the car, u would notice its not a stock lower end.. all forged parts. new block, and i would assume new crank, pistons.. etc...

he's running 10psi

and someone showed me the vortech aftercooler, which im thinking about getting, BUT my ENGINE teacher at school said a turbo sytled intercooler would help if you ran the piping correctly........

just curious if its worth spending $300 on an intercooler, or aftercooler.. whichever is better for a supercharger.

read the mods....... its not a stock motor, and all fored internals with aftermarket heads, intake etc.........

just wanted to know if there was a point, and if so what kind i should get

Find the biggest intercooler you can put in front of your radiator and run it. The better it cools the air the mroe efficent the S/C will become. personally I have 3 intercoolers in my 'stang, but my 'Stang is also a twin turbo setup. So my turbos are running at about 97% efficency.

Also if you put too small of a pulley on the S/C you may tur it too fast and make it inefficent the max RPM of a S/C before it stops making usable boost is 14,500, so keep it under that and you'll be fine.

Is the bottom end of your engine stock? I would recomeng buying the racing gurdle from Summit Racing, here is the URL

Summit Racing - High Performance Car and Truck Parts l 800-230-3030

It is worth the money

You sir are a complete utter idiot!!! You know nothing of what you speak of. Your car is nothing but BS just like you!!!

302 crank in a 351 block?!?!?!
Try again! A 302 crank has a smaller main journal than a 351! Not possible!!!

Three intercoolers?!?! In your wildest wetest dream!!!

Three intercoolers huh? I thought centrifugal sc's spun a lot faster than 14,500 rpms before they "run" out of steam. I thought it was more like 50,000+ on some models. You are a complete jackass. I am 17 and probably know more than your jackass "professors" taught you. Hell if i owned a school and you were the outcome, i'd shoot myself. not sure if there is much else to say. but i think you have been getting owned since you joined this site.

My level of intellect has gained nothing from reading this thread, in fact, I think I lost a few brain cells.
