interested in racing a hemi ram?

if you are located close to greenville or caddo mills. or can get to redline raceway easy enough to come out, we should set up a date to meet up and talk cars and race.

i have a 03 dodge ram 1500 regular cab. i have a few mods on it and last time i was out there i ran 7.86 at 90mph even on street tires.

hardly ever any fast true street cars (camaro's mustang's ect) out there. its mainly trailered cars.

i would like to see some of you willing to meet up some day (mustangs and lightnings alike) and do some all out racing.

what ya say, im shooting to go on december 5th (sunday) that is thier first test and tune on the new surface.

Obviously it's the 1/8th mile... look at the mph.

I don't think he was trying to insult Mustangs. It looks like he was just trying to get some more people to come out to the track.

Obviously the 1/8 mile. Thou his name would suggest the 1/4. Even the 1/8 that is a respectable time. I wonder what "few mods" are? Blower, NO2??? And street tires could be Drag radials or ET street tires?
Don't think it is a SRT-10, it should be a V-8 hemi not a Viper V-10.

yes it is a v8 hemi. i have gears, intake, exhaust, programmer and a 125shot of nitrous.

on 285 50 20 goodyear eagle gtII's.

i was not talking **** to anyone, i like all sports cars equally. i have lots of friends with mustangs.

i just have to give the lightning guys a hard time, because obviously they are some of my main competition. i am just looking for some good ole fashion fun.

wanna have fun, show up. if not, then dont go. easy as that.

I beg your pardon but they do not suck. I've also owned a Hemi Ram for about a year and half and its a mighty fine truck and plenty strong to keep me satisfied when the Cobra stays home. BTW, aren't you listing a Jeep in your sig with a 318 Dodge motor in it?
As far as hypothetical competition, I don't think a Hemi Ram (stock) is a formidable opponent for a late model Cobra or Lightning but throw on the mods and who know? There's a guy on one of the Ram boards (Hemi777) that running seriously good especially on the juice. So, I can appreciate the Hemi enough that I'd buy another one in a heartbeat...maybe in a 300, Magnum or Charger next time around.
Come on, this guy came in here hoping to find some friendly Ford competition and said nothing out of the way or disrespectful so give him some respect as well as the the Hemi. Its selling like gangbusters for Chrysler and guarantees that V8 performance is alive and well and Ford and GM will be compelled to keep their numbers climbing as well.

thanks alot. i didnt make it to the track today. but i did have alot of fun this weekend. made a lot of new mustang friends. and made a lightning owner not like me. he thought i was spraying when i wasnt. hell the bottle wasnt even in my truck. and he got pissed enough to want to fight.

he said no way in hell a dodge will beat me n/a. i was like ohwell, tried to race for fun. but he got pissed.
