I was reading through the owner's manual for my 95 GT, and I saw something about a removeable hardtop! I've never seen this on any Mustang before (from the factory). Anyone know details about this?

I've heard of them for the Cobras but not for GT's. Interesting.

The cobra versions cost a load if you can find one.

BTW, it looked like you have a cool shop (tire thread pics).

499 cobras made, all black with black soft top/hardtop and tan interior.

supposedly 8 gt/v6 models made for press brochures and the like. they were all yellow with yellow hardtop, white soft top, white leather interior.

if you want one i just so happen to know where there is one for sale

for all the haters, the hardtop is the ****!!!!! it does weigh a boat load, but i am sure that coupe roofs weigh a bit too. plus with the coupes you don't have the look of a true coupe which imo is the best looking body style ever invented.

i would so love a hardtop vert thats one i would like to drive and also the rear quarters rolling down looks great!!!!

wonder how outrageous those cars are going for right now...ill take one with 300,000 miles on it if it brings the price down lol
