More progress of the interior...
Notice the center radio bezel.. Gauges are recesssed in the old a/c vents. about 5 hours of body filler/melting plastic, and sanding/painting in that one area alone, lol.
Atleast it looks better then the blank empty looking gauge delete plate i had before. not to mention i now have a kickin sound setup

To Do List:
-Finish shifter bezel trim in red
-Find some black/red racing seats
-Buy some billet window switches
-Leave it alone after to do list

Wow...looks amazing!

I wish I had the patience to do that. Explain those red pieces on the door, obviously not stock.

sure it is.. its all stock, thats been customized to my liking.

The door panels have been recovered in red/silver and black vynil. The rest of the interior has been painted black (from white). The arm rest for the center console has been recovered and trimed alittle. The center radio bezel has been heavily moddified, and the gauge cluster/arm rest window switch deals have all been painted vibrant red/silver and cleared with PPG.

About 4 days worth of work, working on an off when i had the time.

check out the center radio bezel.. I dont have a/c

BTW, i just might start a fabrication shop, once i get a TIG, and learn to use it. Ide have no problem knocking off turbo kits, cold air intakes, intercoolers, ect.

I already work part time at my fathers upholstery shop, so i do alright there

awesome dude..........your car is ever evolving and always looks great

Since you work at an upholstery shop, and you're painting the interior etc., i thought maybe you can answer a question for me without me starting another thread.

I bought a center console, complete with everything at a swap meet, my car has black interior and it is tan. So as you can see, i am just wanting to know if there is an interior paint or dye that i just spray it to match with

looks kinda bad now....but it doesn't squeek rattle etc. anymore

thanks

Looks tight!...2 things:

1. Did you "mold" that piece with the 2 holes for the gauges yourself, or is that some kind of piece that is "fit" in there?

2. Are you gonna continue the red line down and around the outside border of the auto shift bezel, like this?

Oink, that is unbelievable, I love the job you did on the vents!! You make me feel very lazy

Keep up the good work man, your car looks fantastic. Just when I think it couldn't get any better, you go and do something like this.

First off, that looks amazing. The only thing I dont really like is the red bezel around the sppedo and the bezel around the cd player, looks kinda tacky. Doors look awesome, good idea.
