Now that I pretty much replaced every piece of the engine and driveline, it's time to get the car to look good. I am thinking about getting:

Dash Trim Kit (Real Aluminum)
SSR GT3 wheels (18 x 10.5 and 18 x 9's)
Engine Dress up kit "UPR"
Chrome strut tower brace
Saleen S281 Wing

Any other ideas, or does anyone currently have any of this? I was wondering how the fit and finish of the dash kits are as well as the quality of the engine dress up kit? If I posted this in the wrong forum, please move me.
Thanks

Anyone have pictures on thier cars with dash kits? Or the billet accessories? I'm just wondering on fit and finish of these products. And where to get good quality kits.

I don't have pictures, but MGW is absolutely the way to go for interior billet bits - the quality is excellent. I have the a/c knobs, headlight switch knob, cigarette lighter, and e-brake handle and everything fits perfectly and is of top-notch quality. It's also comparably priced to other companies, and the people are nice to deal with too.

Also a nice mod was the UPR brushed aluminum instrument cluster insert that looks like rings around the gauges. I got the aluminum "sheet" version for 30 or 40 bucks - can't remember (as opposed to the near-$100 "solid billet" version). But it looks really cool and is definitely different from the '99 "35th Anniversary Edition" look.

Thanks.. .Does MGW have a web site? Obviously, I am new to the "cosmetic" area of the stang. Very knowledgeable now with the engine and drivetrain, but no idea about cosmetics. Thanks guys!

i love those ssr gt3 wheels, have you seen the gt10 yet? i think they are even nicer. as far as interior goes. I've been buying billitt parts from steeda and like the fit and finish. I'm not sure if they make them inhouse or not but i like them.
i don't have a complete interior kit just odds and ends.

I did see the GT10's, but I am so sold on the GT3's with the satin finish to accent the black car. The GT10's are very nice though. I just like the thinner spoke setup and the noticeable staggering in the wheel

oh and be careful of the saleen wing, i just removed mine...nice crack running the lenth of the wing letting water in. I remember you describing your stereo and you have a little more then me in your trunk....I jusr ordered a 94-95 cobra wing since i don't see too many of those around.

I have that cobra wing on my car now, but the paint is totally gone. All kinds of white spots and you can see the fibers of the wing. I still might just paint the cobra wing, but just had an idea to buy the saleen wing. I love the looks on our body style. Did you buy the actual saleen wing, or a replica?

it was the real saleen wing....i've had several over the years...and never had a problem til the s-281. I think cause it sat on the trunk it absorbed too much bass from the sub. I've only had that wing on since feb.....and then i noticed water leaking in my trunk and pinpionted it coming from wing....oh well it was only 189.

I like the web site. Good prices and it looks like they have very high quality products... Ordering the deluxe e-brake handle, chrome headlight switch, Deluxe A/C controls, chrome tilt wheel attachment, and some other stuff now.. .Thanks guys!
