I'm wondering what works best for gray interior, for cleaning. I want it as clean as possible and something that really lifts up the dirt off the seats & carpet.

Thanks!

Pppl were asking me if I got new seats after I steam cleaned them. We bought a professional steam cleaner with a hand attachment and it does wonders, you can also rent them at home depot, we bought it from the rental center there. Whie you rent it clean your house too :D

take the seats and floor mats out, take them to the carwash, spray the crap out of them with degreaser, soap and rinse. WORKS REAL NICE. i have done with this 2 sets of seats i have had, went in rather dirty and came out looking NEW. while the seats are out. get some heavy duty degreaser in a bottle. spray the crap out of the carpet and get a good brush and scrub like no tomorrow.

with the wet seats. find a good sunny warm day, sit them outside all day and they will dry.

Go to home depot and rent a steam cleaner for $30.. I wouldnt take my seat out and spray them off at a car wash. Foxfan your car must smell like moldy old ass inside.. Wet seats like sopping wet eww..

Anytime I think about taking my seats out & spraying them off, not only makes me shudder & laugh at the same time. :D The steam cleaner idea and or cleaners meantioned above seem more logical.

lol i didnt just stick them back in, they sat out in the sun on a nice hot day facing towards the sun.s dried just fine and my interior is far from smelling like mold.

i'll look on the bright side, it only cost me a dollar.

as a carpet/furniture cleaner myself, i will tell you that steam cleaning them is your best bet. i have never used one of those rental ones, but i am sure that they would do a decent job with the correct precleaner sprayed on the seats (use a brush to aggitate and work the cleaner in too). when you are done (i would go over it a few times) put a fan on them. it will make them dry like 100x faster.
