Interior Color scheme

Interior color combo:
1. Keep it as is, 2 different shades of red
2. Match the two reds
3. Think of a different combo

Exterior:

Old interior (red matched)

The story: Why is it two shades of red? my old interior's paint was chipping and scratched up pretty bad (PO) I told my painter to keep the paint the same color. He said it won't look good if its a different color than the panels... i'm like oh, well the panels are the same color, k whatever. Well i get the car back and as you can see its a lot more maroon color... the same color i tried to stay away from. I wanted to take it back but everyone kept telling me that it looks alright two toned, like a design. What do you guys think?

I agree, really like this on the new Mustangs. I've also seen it on both new BMW M3s and the Audi S5. Can look really good if done right.

My opinion is two tone should be contrasting colors like red/white for example not red/red.

seen a few that looked awesome, red dashpad with white painted dash and red carpet, you get the idea.

Red/white looks great but you'll regret it on a daily driver, impossible to maintain. I sorta like the red/black together too. I had a 67 coupe, red exterior with the deluxe interior also in red. After many years I got REALLY sick of that much red.
