O.K. Time to move on to phase two of the interior. I have a few of the nasty hard vinyl/plastic whatever s**t left to change color on and need to know about dyeing. Fill me in............. what type where to buy any tricks with it? I'm going with black. I'm all ears.
Its not a dye as you would think.. its a spray on paint, that bonds very well to plastic and vynil interior parts. I uses SEM for my stuff, and have had great sucess with it. You would want to go with either a Landue finish or a semi flat black. Can usually runs about $8.
Trick is to prep the parts for painting with laquer thinner to rid them of any grease or grime. Sanding is not required and will actually do more harm then good.
