I hooked up my battery today to take the car on a test drive this afternoon and noticed when I opened the door my interior lights were not coming on. The lights on the inside of the door were not coming on and the map lights were not working either. They were all working fine last weekend. Car fired right up too. I was working around in the passenger footwell today so I'm thinking maybe I pulled a wire out or something? Do all those lights share 1 ground? I noticed in one wire diagram that the interior lights all seem to have the #57 wire as a ground. Maybe this is the problem? Where is this ground attached if so. Anyone other help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Also, the car is a 67 coupe with a 289

Thanks.

No, there is no ground wire as such on the under-dash lights or roof light. These are grounded to the chassis where they ar screwed on. They are all on a fuse- have you checked that? If it keeps blowing, you would need to figure out how it has become grounded somewhere where it should not be.
