interior molding

On the inside of my doors is a hard piece of plastic or rubber that runs along the top of the door above the window and down the back of the door behind the window. Does anybody know what this molding is called, I can't find it anywhere.

Sounds like you are talking about the run channel , it is rubber , and is covered in a felt like material

No its like a hard plastic maybe 1/2 inch wide, i'll try to post a pic.

My '82 Capri has the same piece you're talking about, but my '86 Capris don't. I think this was only on the early 4 eye foxes then later discontinued. I have looked for a replacement for mine too and no one seems to be making them. I don't think it's really an essential piece since the cars that don't have them don't have any problems with leaks, so if you can't find them, I wouldn't sweat it.
