Interior Question?

I'm in the middle of painting my interior from porno red to black, and i've got most everything done except the dash. Can anyone tell me how to take the glove box out? If I can get it out tonight , i'm gunna paint the dash tomorrow.

If I get the dash done all i'll have then is 1 door panel, and 1 quarter panel. Those are the 2 hardest pieces, b/c they taakkee sooo loonnng

Maybe if yall help i can get some pics up tomorrow

i painted my intireor from grey to black and i did everything but the dash because i couldn't figure out how to take it out ..lol but when you did the door panels did you tape off the fabric in the middle and the pouch thingy at the bottom?

Glove box is easy dude. there are a couple screws on the bottom to release the bottom. to get the top out, you have to open the glove box and dont open it all the way. reach in on each side of the box, inside the dash and pull the sides of the box in to each other and it should pop out. thats how it is on my 89. I dont see why they would change it, but they might have.

Beans, if you look at the back of the door panel and you pull the black plastic piece off of the back...you can see where there are bent over prongs that hold those 2 pieces in.....all you have to do is bend them straight and pull those panels off....i did that, painted them seperately, and put them back on.

man i feel stupid. i took almost an hour a piece to tape up each one of the panels so i wouldn't paint those..lol
