Does anyone know if the 87-93 interior door panels would work on my 86 GT. Also does anyone know if it is possible to change out the dash and console out of the 87-93 year models. And is there anything I need to know or look out for on this swap. Thanks alot for any info.

You can change the interior. I have heard that you have to do a little modifying because of the way some of the pieces bolt up.

You need to be careful as nostalga stated. the door panels often have short armrests with manual windows & long armrests with the power windows. The armrests are clearly marked "long" or "short' on the backside by the way. The chrome trim\ inner rubber seal on top of the panel are full length on some & shortened on others; I believe short=manual windows with block off trim plate & full length on power window optioned vehicles. They all can be adapted or modified to fit with patience & ingenuity.....
