Local Ford dealer back in 2002, they make leather and the cheap alternative, i think mine (cheap one) was $30 back in 2002

The install was pretty easy, after you remove the center console, all i did was snap off the clips from the old brake cover trim (all inside) and glued on the new one

NAVIGATION IDEA

What about custom fitting a small navigation unit in the dashtop guage pod that replaces some clocks, like the one in post # 5. Cut out the center of it to fit the navigation screen/unit. Some of the nav screens are like 3.5" so it should be no problem to fit.

Bullitt Instrumet cluster, got off of eBay. Easy to install, you just need to swap over the digital odometer from your original cluster.

The Retro trim rings are from Explicit Auto. http://www.explicitauto.com/ They are cake to install when the cluster is out. They snap in from the back side, so you don't have to remove the clear cover to install. :nice2:

It's somewhat hard to see, but in this photo you can see the defroster vent (top of the dash), the center cluster surrround and shifter surround, and the HVAC knobs have all been painted Mineral Gray (and clearcoated) to match the outside of the car. I did all the work myself with extra paint I had left over from the Bullitt scoop install. As long as you sand, give a good primer coat, the painting of the interior parts is also pretty easy.

Painted some of the trim, Flameball, UPR OD relocation kit, assorted billet. Roady XT added.

Mach I seats.

Autometer dash bezel with carbon series gauges. Also painted inside of factory bezel and the added the aluminum overlay.

And a RSD with tinted Pony cutout.

I don't plan on making any major changes to my Mach 1 but here is what I did with my '02 GT before I traded it in.
