My 94 GT has an interesting/vexing charging problem. When the car is cool (for instance after sitting overnight), when I start the car the voltage gauge reads at the "N". my lights run dim, radio won't stay on etc. I checked the battery voltage with a meter at the battery and it reads 10.55 volts. After driving to work, and the car sitting all day in the sun the voltage gauge reads between the "M" and "A". Checking the battery voltage then reads at 13.80. Any ideas what could be happening? This has been going on for more than a week. Thanks in advance for the help. Aloha.

If your battery had 10.55 volts, it wouldn't start. It needs at least 12.7. First thing to check is the battery to see if you have a dead cell or it won't hold a charge.

Check all of your ground wires, battery and alternernator cables and wires. Do a volt droppage test along the power wires,
