Hello, I am experiencing an intermittent vibration during acceleration. It usually starts after shifting into 2nd. My shift knob shakes like crazy. There is no vibration in the steering wheel and it only happens every few days, when I let off the gas pedal it goes away and starts back up when applying my foot to the pedal again. I recently changed the U-joints but that did not help the problem. Any suggestions on what it can be? Thank you in advance.

Could a developing misfire not throw any codes and cause vibration? It feels like there's a hesitation in power when I step on the gas pedal.
Thank you guys for your suggestions. Really appreciate it.

Check for broken motor and/or transmission mounts. Very common problem on the Mustang. A dead giveaway that the motor mounts are broken is that the motor is setting very low in the K-member.
