No boring necessary. How much power would you like to make. If you're planning on pushing the envelope over the 400-450rwhp mark, I'd sink some money into beefing up your stock rods and pistons. You should be able to hit that mark with blower alone, so ported heads and cams aren't necessary. If you want to push it past that, then go ahead and have your PI heads ported and add the cams.....but better save up for the rotating assembly while you're at it. It's gonna cost you!

Gearbanger 101 is absolutely right. If you are wanting to do the internals before you do the supercharger. That would be a good way to go. That way you have all the good's in the motor already and only thing you have to do is slap that sucker on and make some boost. We have some pretty kick butt deals on rotating assembly's and short blocks...feel free to Pm me with any questions. But if you are doing the internals I would recomend go ahead and get the heads reworked which we do aswell. and like you already said put the valve springs in at the same time. The comp stage 2 cams and beehive springs will work awesome with an blower setup. We have done tons and tons of those setup now from anything with an procharger to roots style and they seem to be a good cam for the setups. hope that helped out a little bit. If you are really wanting to make some good power I would look at a stroker kit (even though we can still make really really good power on an .20over bore or stock bore motor)...but if you do want to do an stroker look at an 302 stroker...Well good luck and feel free to call or Pm me anytime with any tech questions...good luck

if eventually your going to add a blower then it would be wise to invest in a forged bottom end, but as far as the heads go you can get the heads port and polished and since they are Comp cams that your installing the springs will have to be swapped out.
