lol i know, I am on granny duty. I am the guy who gets to find all the granny carts around the store and ride them to the front and plug them in. It was really funny, he called today about my application and asked if i was interested in being a "cart pusher" I was like" What does the job entail" lol Pushing carts... I need a job and they are supposed to pay pretty good here, around 7-7.50 an hour... Do yall know if i can get discounts??

wal-mart gives employee discounts

as far as the pay... there is actually some type of movement/bill being reviewed that would require wal-mart to have a minimum base pay of 10 bucks an hour due to the fact its one of the largest employers in the US (save for the military).... So, hey.. if you get the job in time.. you could reap the benifits

Alright, I got the job, but I got better than what i expected in both pay and position. I am going to be an exit greeter, checking off ppls receipts and stuff making 7.75 an hour! After 3 months I get a 40 cent raise, and after 3 weeks i get the 10% discount card. I'm happy.

just to help you out in the future, i don't know how old you are and how much you are able to work.. unless your under 18 and in school... if you can work 40hrs + a week... what has worked for me at least making 10 dollars a hour + is looking in the paper and sending in resume in... most copanys in the paper pay better then your local stores etc... like lawn care, pest conrtrol, apprentices for electric and other trades like construction... most want you to have some exp and alot say they will train the right people... also temp to hire has worked for me once threw a agency... just a tip that has worked for me

Seems like a big "requirement" for walmarts around here is that you're either black or handicapped in a wheel chair.

Not saying its a bad thing, just an observation I noticed here

I find it odd you need to interview for such a low class place

Good luck with the new job!!

i worked at walmart. hated it. i was the one that unloaded all the goddamn trucks. it was a bitch. dont listen to him about the .40 raise in 3 months. its a 90 evaluation period. u could get .40 or 0 just do what they say and bust ur ass and dont miss a day and u will get the .40 and remember if u mess up once they can fire u ASAP if ur still with the 90 days. i said fock(with the u) and got fired and i only had about 10 days left of the 90 days oh well i work at the ZONE now. 20% discount

It's Walmart, I don't think you have to worry about anything man. Just show up for the interview and you will get the job I would imagine.

As far as the big box reforendum?sp.........It will never pass because the stores are refusing to build in areas that this is to take place in causing huge economic losses to those areas.............and if it does pass I'm moving out of this country because that is BS to have to pay more to losers that can't get a better job, lack of will is all it is, pay 'em 5.25 an hour IMO.
