I've been researching this forum for a while and decided it's time to join. The wealth of knowledge on here is incredible! Now for my car questions. I have a 2003 GT that has "Soft Launched" since the day I bought it. What I mean by soft launch is when i come to a complete stop and begin to leave slowly the motor rev's fine but then suddenly picks up a second or two afterwards. It's almost like I push the accelerator down a little more but throttle position remains constant. There is no stuttering, hesitation, or bogging, just a sudden small burst of acceleration. The second problem I am experiencing is sometimes my dome lights fail to shut off causing my factory "alarm" to think the door is open. If I pull the #7 fuse (body control module / interior lights) and reinstall it it's fine again for another few weeks. It only seems to happen if it's really hot outside or if I have the heater blasting. Any help with either of these problems would be greatly appreciated!
