If you want to go real tech. with an Irs unit you can adjust toe and camber as well good stuff... I have allready slid under a c-5 vette to measure the transaxle width...too wide I thought that that would be cool to move the tranny to the rear as well as get irs all at the same time
Agreed. Hence the problem with wheel hop. The IRS did provide a civilized ride on the streets and was much more stable in bumpy corners than the live axle. Overall weight is considerably more however, around 80 pounds. That's roughly half a tenth in the 1/4.usedtobe 67p51d said:trading one problem for another? I understand that...I have a wife.
