IRS Swap Question

I found someone advertising that wants to swap and IRS out of a 99 cobra for a live axle. I have an 02' gt with 8k miles and has never been raced or abused, the 99 irs has 30k miles with 9k on 3.73 which is the gears that I want as well. I have a couple questions:

Is the swap a direct bolt in or does it require any modifications?

Is there a problem with having a stock gt front suspension and a cobra rear?

Is the cobra rear end and axles stronger than the GT's?

I plan to go supercharged and I don't drag race so I think this would be the best setup if everything will work together correctly. Any advice would be appreciated.

One thing to remember is that you will need to change your brake lines!

I believe you have to use a Cobra exhaust too
