So. Cal.
Is 0w-20 oil too thin for California summer 100 degree weather b/c I just did an oil change and that's what I put in. So far the car seems to be doing just fine and the car's not my daily driver so I think I should be ok. What do you guys think?

0w-20 is ok but just for piece of mind i'd go with the 5w-30 for the added protection and the ease of availability. Like said above $20 at Walmart for 5 qrtz.

Well I already bought Mobil One Synthetic 0w-20 and have put it in. I've only had it in for like 2 days though. Also, I don't sit in traffic very often, and I don't drive my car that much. If it's too thin I guess I can take it out and store it in a different oil pan and buy some 5w-30 and put the 0w-20 in during winter.

nah, you're going to be fine like i said. just leave it in there and later on you can get some 5w-30 at walmart.
