Is 295/45/18 TOO tall?

A local guy has a pair and i was wondering if it would look too messed up...

I personally am entertaining the idea of having taller tires in the back so have a more racked look... but will it be too much

The 295s are about 3 inches taller then stock. might look a little big on a stang but thats up to you.

I'm running 295/35/18. They are 26.1" tall, which is about 1/2" taller than stock. They fill the wheel wells perfectly in my opinion. I heard going too tall could create problems with ABS and traction control, could also mess your shift points if you have an auto.

Here's a pic so you can see what I mean. Front tires are 275/35/18 (equivalent of stock diameter)
