Is 36 lbs too much for my 600b charger?

I have a 88LX 5.0 with a Procharger 600b 12 rib with 3 core intercooler with all the supporting mods( Worlds heads with 1.72 rockers, LTs, downs polished intake, 70mm TB, MSD BTM box and distributor, and 36lb injectors with supporting Pro M mass air. My problem is it runs extremely rich and fouls plugs left and right. Fuel pressure is set a 36lbs at idle. I was told that the injectors are too big and that it needs 24 lb injectors due to the intercooler. Could this be right? I need help ASAP

Go get a custom tune and call it a day. 24 lb injectors with no FMU at even a modest 6lbs of boost (you didn't specify boost) would be a very dangerous combo. If you can afford one, I'd suggest a PMS.

When was the last time you changed the O2's?

Make sure all the tubing connections and pipes are tight.

What plus are you using? What is the gap? What fuel pump/s?

36's are not too big, if everything is fine you just need to pull out fuel down low. Only way you can do that is with some tye of tuner like the mention PMS, TwEECer, EEC Tuner, etc...

I have a FMU on the car. Boost is 15 lbs I think. Ive never ran it full throttle due to it not having a good dyno tune, so the 15 lbs is what was told to me by the previous owner. I just looked at my Procharger owners manual and they said that either 24 or 30 lb injectors are ideal for the intercooled SCs and that any larger are too much. I havent checked my 02 sensors, so that could be a problem. As far as plugs go I need to go and see the name and gap cause I dont remember the gap (although I think its .045). Ive only had the car a couple of months.

Until you get to large amounts of power. Then the 30lb injectors will not stand their grounds. That is why you see lots of people running 42lb injectors.
