That's all we have here in San Diego. I can't find 92 octane anywhere. If anyone knows where I can get it please chime in. Thanks. Also, Can anyone explain pinging? Will I be able to distinguish the sound right away?

it should be fine as long as you don't bump your timing too high. theres a unocal that sells 93 over by SDSU but i think its like 4 bucks a gallon.

Damn I always wanted to live in California but that's the only thing over there is you guys can't get any real gas. I can get 93-94 octane here for like $1.75-1.80 a gal. Hell the sunoco down the street sells Cam 2 race gas I think its like 108 octane for under $4 a gal. About the timing adjuster on 91 octane you could do it just dont get to greedy and if you wanna bump it up cuz your going to the track or something just put in a can of octane boost and you'll be straight. Just remember to bump it back down the next day.

I run my at 15-16 and I had to put 89 in because I wasnt going to spend a 1.74 for 93 and 89 was fine for me but it's diff. for every car.

you can just bump your timing down 1 degree and you won't have to worry about running 92...did you think about that?
