mine is this one: TFS-51500001. the throttle body inlet diameter is 75 mm.
the elbow adapter i have is the MAC 70 mm. is that 5 mm crucial?
it seems to me that, if anything, i should get a 75 mm adapter and a 75 mm t/b. then everything would match up more closely.
but i'm curious, why would it HURT to have a 75mm t/b with a smaller elbow? how is that different from having a bigger (76.2 mm) cai tube and a smaller t/b? won't it just flow whatever the smallest (ie-most restrictive) opening will allow?
Aren't the sn95 elbow made in 70 and 75mm? I think the tfs one is 75mm, just buy that one so it all flows. If you bolt a 75mm tb to a 70mm elbow, I would assume the air would hit a "wall" kinda and hinder flow. Probably nothing you'll notice, but if you want the full benefit of the 75mm TB, you need a 75mm elbow and 75mm inlet of the manifold. Glad I dont have these elbow thingy's on my 92LX
