Is a custom chip worth the money with my setup???

97Gt with the following, motorsport bullit intake, 150 dry shot, 410 gears, 24lbs injectors, pro M maf meter, off road h pipe with 3" delta force race mufflers with dumps, msd dis 4, timing adjuster, the car has run a best of 12.2 and is killing spark plugs even with race gas, we were thinkng a custom chip would solve the problem and put us in the 11`s? we have run colder plugs and race gaqs and still killing plugs any suggestions cause a custom chip isnt cheap!!! also anyone with a 96-98 GT running nitrous what plugs are you running and part number we wanna make sure the parts store gave us the proper plugs...2 heat ranges colder

with the nitrous, i'd say yes, get a custom tune. a 150 shot is alot to be running on a stock intake and bottom end. you are lucky nothing has gone boom yet.

awsf22-c. don't use platinum plugs with nitrous, use copper. also I sure hope you have that timing adjuster set at stock or retarted 1 or 2 degrees when shooting nitrous...
