Have a Mac now, only for carb legal reasons and I just coverd it with therma tec heat repealant tape used on turbo pipping... its never hot to the touch, Im not going for show in the engine, i just want it to work !

WHY? Do you guys realize what a "cold air intake" REALLY is?! A piece of frickin piping, and a filter!!! I can almost guarentee those ebay intakes will make the same amount of power the name brand intakes will make. CAI's are only good for 2-5whp anyway, so why waste $200? That seems idiotic to me. Get the ebay filter dude, CAI's are a joke anyway.

JUNK... They do nothing.

+1 Measured IAT on my Dad's bone stock '01 GT and it was 4 degrees COLDER than his buddies '02 GT w/ a BBK CAI...maybe the angle of the inlet tube may gives you minimal gains, but there's definitely nothing cold about a cold air intake

Name brand CAI is better because they look better what else is a CAI for but looks?

Personally I like the look of my stock intake.

Get the one that looks the best..and don't expect to get a huge power increase...if any at all.
There is some logic to the plastic vs steel vs aluminum debate, but actually the air is moving thru the tube so fast, it really doesn't absorb much heat from the tube anyway.
If we want to talk about small differences, small gains, etc and nothing you'd really be able to use on the street or track, then we could have a lengthy debate / discussion here. Otherwise, get the one that looks best to you. (I did!).
