there is a guy trying to sell me one and i dont know much about them...any help

yeah they are the same design as the saleen intakes which looks similar to the new style trick flow intakes.i bought it and then talked to a couple ppl and found out it is worth alot more than i gave for it

I have one on my daily driver. They used the mid 80's Ford truck lower intake manifold. The Saleen and Vortec were the same thing just different names on them. Back in the day it was one of the best intakes on the market. It was called the shootout intake. It had x-tra injector bosses on the side of the upper plenum for increased fuel enrichment,such as running nitrous,supercharged,turbo's. You had to machine the bosses though. Anderson Ford Motorsports used to use these manifolds all the time. They used to sell them also. They use to retail for over $600.00.

yeah thats nuts how much those things go for.The last one i saw on ebay(it was the one that said saleen)sold for over 900.I am gonna get mine polished so that it looks a little better.AND MOST OF ALL I FINALLY NEED THAT TALL HOOD!
