Is an x-pipe or pro-chamber worth it?

Right now for exhaust i have mac long tubes, offroad h-pipe, and flowmaster c-back.

Would it be worth it to get an x-pipe or prochamber setup? Been looking at the price of 3" exhaust and its a little out of my budget right now.

Also anybody used the mac chrome tail pipes... Somebody told me they will only work with mac mufflers, but others have said they will work with others too.

Dunno about the tailpipes, but I've been told Prochamber is basically the best crossover pipe out there. The sound is very unique and it's meant to give you the best of both worlds of H and X pipe.

Mac has two different types of tailpipes. If you get their catback, they have a special type of tailpipe that bolts up to the muffler half way over the axle.

Look on there website. They have "generic" tips that will work with any muffler.

I've been told by many NMRA racers that the only way an X pipe makes more power is if the crossover is as close to the front of the car as possible, up by the cross member. Like a Dr. Gas X-pipe (I think?) and NOT a Bassani X-pipe.

go with the prochamber. the unwritten rule is: prochamber on a pushrod motor, x-pipe on a mod motor. i bought my mac 1 3/4 longtubes, mac 3 inch prochamber and mac 3 inch dumps for about $850 with shipping. i can show you who i bought from if you want.
