Is Big Block power worth it?

in our cars, a big block seems kinda silly because its just so much weight and money...you can make similar power, and have the motor lighter by doing a 351 based stroker as many others have stated....

HOWEVER...i have driven my dad's chevelle with a 502 big block chevy motor in it, and lemme tell you...the torqu is incredible, and its a BLAST to drive!

I have found crate motors with Aluim. SCJ heads. Not sure of the weight. I should email them just for ****s and giggles and ask what the weight of them are. As stated above they are carb though and I really don't like that idea. My 66 is carbed of course and the 85 ranger we have is carb and they are such a pain to get started and to run right.
