Installed my RT Tweecer today. First, I printed all 47 pages of the manual and read it, some pages several times. Installed the drivers and verified all locations on my lap top. Plugged in the tweecer and the switch and downloaded the FORD EEC and all of the functions to all 4 of the switch settings.. 48kb download. The car will only start with the switch in the OFF position! When in data logging, the calibration console, "dashboard" is inoperative and shows nothing, no rpm, no volts, no af, all values are blank. What am I missing here, show my the error of my ways
Thanks much in advance

Hey Charlie

I'm not all that familiar with the newer software used these days

Hopefully Greg, Wes or some of the other Tweecer users will chime in here :nice:

The old .org tuning site used to have an installation issue forum :)

Maybe you could find a quick answer there

Good Luck and welcome to the self tuning community :spot:

when you click read do you see the progress bar move? for the datalog part you need to go into utilites and select the payloads you want to datalog. after that you need to re-write to the tweecer before it will work.

Thanks for the quick response boys.

"when you click read do you see the progress bar move? for the datalog part you need to go into utilites and select the payloads you want to datalog. after that you need to re-write to the tweecer before it will work"

The progress bar does move.................I went to utilities and selected ALL of functions to datalog....................I can't seem to write in back to the tweecer...................

"also, make sure you are using the cbaza strategy"

The program will only take the L9 or 9 something strategy, it will not let me change to the cbaza strategy.

when you go to utilites you need to choose the payloads on the right side of the screen. not the functions. you should only be able to pick 15 or 16. you wont be able to select all. look at the bottom of the screen and you will see strategy. change that to cbaza and re-write everything to the tweecer and you should be good to go.

Thanks to Legalize 420, changing the strategy to CBAZA cured all of my problems. I wrote the Ford settings to all 4 of the switch positions. Tomorrow I will datalog and make a few,"very few" changes and head back to track on Thursday if this rain quits.
Thanks to all again,
Charlie
